Radiology Malpractice – Misdiagnosis and misreading of X-rays and imaging studies
Whenever a medical imaging study is misread and a patient gets the wrong treatment as a result, that can amount to medical malpractice. Any kind of misdiagnosis by a radiologist can result in a medical malpractice case. Other cases brought by our firm have included misinterpretation of lung images on a plain chest X-ray, a missed kidney cancer on a plain abdominal film, and misinterpretation of bone x-rays.
